Niagara Falls in the winter

So.....this post may have been a long time coming but here 'tis. Niagara Falls in the winter time. One of the great benefits of going in the dead of winter - and as it happened in the midst of a rather large snow squall - is that most people stayed away and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We walked up and down, took a bunch of pics and then headed in for our "Journey Behind the Falls" tour which was very interesting. The last pic is of a viewing window where you can usually see the water falling but as you can see the water is frozen there.
My little poser.

These are the viewing binoculars that you can put a coin into and see across the falls. I really like this pic and believe it or not this is in full colour!

This is from behind the falls too.

The frozen viewing window.

What awsome photos!I have always liked seeing Niagara Falls in pictures or on the telly but to see real photos and to know you are there is just awesome! It sure does look freezing, makes me think that maybe our 12 degrees is not as cold as I first thought it was..............LOL
