Well Little Miss Emily is now 9 Weeks old today (oopsie I forgot to do the 9 Weeks Old Today sign....... ah well you will just have to take my word for it). Today we spent a good part of the day driving to the Australian High Commission in Pretoria to collect her passport so now we can actually bring her home for Christmas. She is becoming more and more vocal and now when she is laying on her change table if I go around beside her head she will nearly always flash me a smile and tell me a little story. It is really sweet and it certainly makes changing her nappy a more pleasurable experience I would just really love to know what it is that she is thinking and telling me about.
This is a quick little clip of Emily playing on her play mat. She is becomming much more aware of her surroundings and is attempting to interact with both us and her toys. She loves the bright colours on her mat and she was actually smiling up at a bunch of flashing lights that were hanging over her on the frame of her play mat. One day I will actually capture a smile and maybe one of our chats too, I'll keep working on it but in the meantime we will keep on counting down until we can bring her home for all of you to see for yourselves!

wow - that is so amazing. Its awesome to see how she has grown and to see her in a video is so much more amaing. Only like 15 more sleeps til you get here (not that i am counting down) I am so looking forward to it. I'm going to fill up both of my memory cards and the memory on my computer with the millions of photos i am going to take of Emily and her cute big brother.
