Dress Up Day at School

Last week Riley had the first of two dress-up days at school. The theme was to do with the sea etc, so all the boys came as pirates (ARGH!) and the girls as Mermaids. There was the odd one or two that came as sea creatures like fish etc. I think the boys liked the idea of coming as pirates as they got to bring their swords to school. The second photo is of Riley with one of his school friends David. David is really sweet and just loves Emily, he always comes and says hi to us when we drop Riley off in the mornings and he likes to give Em a little kiss on her cheek. He was also fascinated with my preggy belly when I was pregnant so I think he is just amazed that Em is what was in there all that time. The last pic is of a few of Riley's classmates. The girls on the left are or have been at one time or another his 'girlfriends'. I cannot keep up as it changes almost daily. Some days it is just one of them and other days it is all of them. I guess monogomy is not an issue when you are only 3..... The little girl who is the 3rd one in is Beth and she is his most steady girlfriend. She is very forward and runs up to give him kisses (when she is his girlfriend) in the mornings when we arrive. Riley is very shy about it when it is happening but it's almost all he can talk about when she is not around. Very cute indeed. The next dress-up day is next Friday and it is for Halloween so Riley is going to wear his skeleton costume that we have bought him for Trick or Treating this weekend. Our friends are having a street party on Saturday and all the kids are dressing up and then going Trick or Treating. It is very exciting especially seeing as how it is our first go at it.
